Alma 10

Amulek really testified boldly. He didn’t stand down, he didn’t equivocate, or mice words, he just said what was true with complete conviction. It must have been so amazing.

At the end of the chapter it speaks to the motivation of the lawyers, which was to get gain. What was Amulek’s motives? They both spoke boldly, but I guess in the end that what is driving your boldness makes it okay or not. It is okay for me to be bold when my motivations are good and right and when that is what the situation requires. I feel like I have spent a long time training myself to do the opposite and be sensitive and soft spoken. But if it is right, and I have a confirmation from God that it is right, I need to take the straight course, like Amulek, and just speak the truth and make the good things happen.
