I had a teacher tell me once that one of the keys to
understanding Isaiah is to liken it to yourself. I guess that will be the
challenge as I read the next chapters. I’ve always just tried to figure out
what he was referring to. But Nephi challenges us in this chapter to liken it,
so that’s’ what I’m going to do.
I want to be more like Nephi in that my soul delights in the
things of God more. That was a strong impression I got a Church yesterday, to
focus my heart and desires more on Him and be less worldly.

July 11, 2012 - Funny that this was news to me a few months after I had already learned that from Nephi. Look how much light and knowledge you learn in such a short time of not reading scriptures!
