2 Nephi 10

Who will be responsible for the wickedness of the Jews when Christ came? Jacob said they would not believe because of priestcrafts. I wonder how much of what happened was individual agency and how much will be the responsibilities of wicked teachers who knew what they taught was false. If Christ came here and now, would people see his miracles and believe? There are so many tricksters and false priests now, I can see how it made people skeptical. And once again, it’s always the easy way out to doubt.

Are there any kings on the American continents, or are they all “democracies”?

At the end of this chapter, the last two verses are so profound and succinct a discussion of grace. I’m so grateful for my testimony and knowledge of the true gospel of the Lamb, where the truth is so clear, and so beautiful. And I’m sad for those who will not see, but remain confused.
