Everything we talked about in R.S. Presidency meeting
yesterday, and all the training videos I watched this morning have prompted me
that I need to be more diligent in my spiritual preparation, in reading
scriptures and in praying more meaningfully. And then today when I opened 2nd
Nephi, there he is, saying the exact same thing. If I want to know what to do
for my family, for my calling, for the sisters I visiting teach, or to see how
to help people, then those are the things I need to do. I need to feast upon
the words of Christ to fulfill my errand of angels. And the amazing things is
that comes together so clearly for me because of one of the videos I watched on
ministering and Elder Cook was talking about it being the errand of angels. And
then it’s exactly what Nephi says.
I am so grateful for the gift of the Holy Ghost. It is an
amazing privilege to be taught by the Lord. I know it is Him who shows these
things to me, and helps me feel them with new importance and light. I am
grateful to know that He loves me so much, and the moment I turn more fully to
Him, he is there to receive me, and lift me up.
