This chapter is in my mind a lot, about how we are all
beggars and not to not help people because it’s their own fault. I also feel
like today it’s talking to me about being humble again. I really need to work
to on that. I also was struck by, if you believe these things see that you do them.
I love the part, too, about what to teach your kids: to know
the commandments, and not fight, and to love and serve each other. It’s what
I’ve been thinking and trying to do (when I don’t feel awful these last few
days) and it’s a great summary of it, and a nice reminder I am going in the
right direction.
