I can’t get over
how many people keep dying. War is awful. What made the Lamenites keep fighting
in the face of so much horror? They were not fighting for their freedom and
safety. They could just go home. Is this a case of the misplaced enmity my dad
talks about? It seems like now the aggressors in these types of battle always
have to convince their soldiers they are fighting a holy war. It makes me sad
that people can get so deceived, and have their hearts so hardened against the
truth.
